The 2024 edition - Jorgic and Yuan win

Darko Jorgic and Jia Nan Yuan win the 6th edition of the Top 16.

The favourites had a tough time of it in Montreux. Félix Lebrun (17), in particular, fell to his elder brother Alexis (20), who was ranked lower than him (23rd versus 8th in the world), in the quarter-finals. The younger Lebrun was seeded No. 1 in the draw. The field was also open to Slovenia's Darko Jorgic (ranked 14th in the world and 2nd in Europe) and Sweden's Truls Moregard (ranked 19th and 8th). The trophy went to the former for the third year in a row, at the end of five very fine rounds. It seems that the air in Montreux suits him perfectly. Truls Moregard was already a finalist in the Top 16 in 2022.

The women's final was an epic encounter, with France's Jia Nan Yuan (ranked 26th in the world and 6th in Europe) and Austria's Sofia Polcanova (ranked 22nd and 3rd) going head-to-head for seven sets. In the end, Nan Yuan won 11-6 on mental strength. The support of the crowd, the majority of whom were French, certainly played in her favour. The 2022 European mixed doubles champion was quick to point this out once the verdict was in.

The Top 16 would like to extend its warmest thanks to the public who turned out in force for this year's event (sold out on Saturday and Sunday), as well as to the sponsors, without whom nothing would be possible.
